This adventure presents the great chance to see the magnificent land of celestial mountains, which are located in Central Asia. The entire tour goes along the Great Silk Way passing through the striking Tian - Shan massif. You will visit the world's 2nd largest mountain lake - Issyk - Kul, as well as the charming Son - Kul Lake, which is situated on an elevated plateau (3013m. above sea level) in the heart of Kyrgyz Republic. You will be taken back to the time of nomadic life, their traditions, culture and food. You will take pleasure in seeing of the wild nature of the untouched places, and memorable historic places of interest!
Places to visit: Bishkek - Sary Chelek Lake - Arslan bob - Jalal Abad - Osh city - Kazarman village - Tash Rabat Caravanserai - Son Kul Lake - Kochkor village -Konorchek canyons - Chon Kemin - Burana Tower - Bishkek
Day 1: Bishkek - Sary Chelek Lake
You will be collected from Manas International Airport by your guide. Transfer fom Bishkek to Sary Chelek Lake. Sary Chelek is the most stunning lake in Kyrgyz Republic. It was formed due to the earthquake, which provoked stone fall that blocked the river that passed through the valley, and the water collected right in the gorge. There is an excellent opportunity to take pleasure in its fantastic beauty! This lake is about 2.5 km. in width and 75 km. long! This mountain lake is situated at the altitude of 1873 m. above sea level. It is located far away from cities and it is really worth to visit it.
Day 2: Sary Chelek - Arslan Bob
At 8 o'clock the day starts with a breakfast. Today we have a trip to Arslan Bob forests by car. Arslan Bob is one of the most famous places in the republic. In these forests there are trees that reach a height of 30 meters with their dome shaped, and two meters thick trunks. These walnut trees are found growing uncultivated on mountain slopes and along banks of the rivers at the altitude of between 1000 and1800 meters a. s. l. Along the whole way to the forest you will see plenty of picturesque places that will amaze you by their beauty. The Village of Arslan Bob lies itself at the altitude of 1700 meters above sea level. You will this spend night in the home stay.
Day 3: Arslan Bob
This day you will go for hiking to walk around this place, to enjoy this place splendor and to see cascade. Optionally, you could relax in a calm atmosphere of the forest or continue your walking.
Day 4: Arslan Bob - Jalal Abad
We will start our trip to Jalal Abad town after fortifying breakfast. You will have drive to this town along a mountain road that will have many amazing views on the way. One of Kyrgyzstan's main Silk Road routes passed through Jalal Abad and for thousands of years the region has played host to travelers. Overnight is in the guesthouse.
Day 5: Jalal Abad - Osh
Breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock in the morning. Transfer from Jalal - Abad to the second biggest city in Kyrgyz Republic - Osh. En route to the city we will visit also Uzgen town. There is Tower and three beautiful mausoleums that were built at the end of the 11th century. The city of Osh is older than Rome because it is more than 3000 years old. You will visit one of the most interesting bazaars; it streched along the Ak - Buura River for one km, where you can make hundreds of photos. This bazaar place is the most well-known in Kyrgyzstan. After visiting bazaar you we go to the sacred Suleiman Mountain that is situated in the very heart of the city. Overnight is in the guest house.
Day 6: Osh city - Kazarman Village
This day we drive in the heart of Tien Shan Mountain system! First of all, we will return to Uzgen in order to cross Pamir - Alai Mountains. On the way, you will have a great chance to enjoy the nature of stunning mountains. You will have a dinner as soon as we arrive in Kazarman. In the home stay you will spend the night.
Day 7: Kazarman - Tash Rabat Caravanserai
Breakfast is at 8 o'clock in the morning. After packing your backpacks you will be transferred to the Great Silk Road Tash Rabat Caravanserai. You will be carried away by the astonishing panorama offered through views the untouched nature. Tash Rabat translated as Stone Castle, its construction refers to the 14th century A. D. The building is a unique one. In total there are 31 rooms that are joined with the central domed Chamber. The thickness of walls is 1 m. There are also dungeons for ancient thieves. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. And it has no analogue in the whole world, because it was made of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat Caravanserai. Yurts are built without nails. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 o'clock in the evening.
Day 8: Tash Rabat - Son Kul Lake
Breakfast is served at 8 o'clock. After that we will be transferred to the 2nd biggest lake in Kyrgyz Republic - Son Kul. The Kyrgyz nomads with their families started to come to this wonderful area for rest and relaxation since ancient times. Naryn region herders come to the lake to use it as summer pastureland. Son Kul Lake is surrounded with the mountains; it is situated at an altitude of 3013 m. above sea level and is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan. On the way, lunch will be taken. You will be free to walk around and enjoy lake's virgin nature and its surrounds, after our arrival. Dinner and overnight stay are in the collapsible nomadic abodes - yurts. Yurts are built without nails. They are made out of wooden skeleton that is covered with thin felt mats.
Day 9: Son Kul Lake (3013 m. a. s. l.)
Your breakfast is at 9 o'clock in the morning. This day you have free time at Son-Kul Lake to explore its nature on your own and it is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic customs and way of life. On a horse you can ride along the lake, or just relax in the wild and calm atmosphere of the nature. Our lunch will be served at 2 p.m. You will see also ancient petroglyphs after having your lunch. You will spend the night in yurts as nomads do. Dinner will be served in original nomadic houses - yurts.
Day 10: Son Kul Lake - Kochkor village
You will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km) after fortifying breakfast. You will meet a family in the Kochkor Village that can demonstrate you the way of the national felt carpets ala kiyiz are produced. You even can participate in this process and create your own carpet. With a local family there you will have a traditional dinner. Overnight stay is in the guest house.
Day 11: Kochkor village - Konorchek canyons
Transfer from the Village of Kochkor to the famous Canyons of Konorchek. It is a real seventh heaven for those who like to take photos! We will have hiking in the spectacular place of Red Canyons as soon as we arrive there. Konorchek is unlike all other mountains in Kyrgyz Republic. Your hiking will be so interesting, because the canyons are of different shapes.
Day 12: Konorchek
This day will be devoted to the continuation of our hking in this incredible place. The changeable views during the whole hiking tour will amaze you. You will have a chance to go both along the canyons bottom and then along its top.
Day 13: Konorchek - Chon Kemin
We will go to the place where our chauffeur will wait us after breakfast. Transfer from Konorchek to the Valley of chon Kemin along Boom Gorge. This night you will spend in Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse.
Day 14: Chon Kemin - Bishkek
At 8 o'clock you will be served with your breakfast. Transfer from Chon Kemin Valley to Bishkek city is after breakfast. On the way to Bishkek we will stop to visit Burana Tower that is the minaret of 11 century, as well as its open air Balbans (stone warriors) museum. Upon arrival in Bishkek you will have a guided city tour. A farewell dinner is served at 7 p.m. Overnight is in the hotel***.
Day 15: Bishkek - Europe
You will be collected from the hotel at the time prearranged according to your flight details and accompanied to the Airport.
